Over the past few years, OM Szopienice has carried out significant investments aimed at replacing the old, energy-intensive machinery with new production lines that are characterized by lower energy consumption per unit of product, making them much more environmentally friendly. To date, two projects co-financed by the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice have been completed, resulting in two new production lines, NL1 and NL2. The dust extraction systems have also been modernized.
