In addition to direct sales, COGNOR S.A. OM Szopienice offers processing services for materials provided by clients. This means producing products from raw materials supplied by the client, including both bronze and zinc alloys.
For bronze, clients provide scrap or ingots of a specific alloy grade to be processed into the final product. For zinc alloys, only zinc Z1 is used.
Each processing project is individually negotiated, including determining the so-called “yield” (raw material consumption per ton of finished product). Acceptable levels of metallic contamination are also specified.
